Creating Your ApotheCare Support Registry – A Simple Guide to Getting Started

Your ApotheCare registry is your personal support hub. It’s where you can gather everything to make your cancer journey more comfortable, manageable, and supported. Creating your registry is straightforward; we’re here to guide you through every step.

  1. Getting Started
    • Click “Create Registry” from the upper-right menu
    • Enter your email and create your password
    • Add delivery preferences 
      • Add your shipping address for physical items
      • Specify your email for e-gift cards and communication for the acts of service coordination.

      2. Building Your Registry

    • Browse our marketplace and click “Add to Registry” on items that would be helpful
    • For each item, type in the Note Section:
      • Priority level (Essential, Helpful, Nice-to-Have)
      • Quantity needed
      • Any size, colour, or style preferences

       3. Sharing your Registry with your Supporters

    • Below your list of items, you will see your Registry URL link. Click “Copy”.
    • You can now paste this link into an email and send it to your supporters.

      4. Once your Supporters have let you know what they have purchased or signed up for, return to your registry and delete it to mark it as fulfilled.

  • Every gesture matters – Whether it’s one meal, a single ride, or choosing a comfort item, all support is valuable and appreciated.
  • This helps you help me. Many people want support but don’t know how to offer it. This registry gives you concrete ways to contribute.

Supporting Your Loved One – Quick Guide for Registry Supporters

Your loved one has created an ApotheCare Support Registry to help their community know how to support them during their cancer journey.

Here’s how you can help:

Accessing the Registry
  1. Click the registry link your loved one shared with you.
  2. Browse their items and service requests – they’ve added personal notes explaining how each item would help.
  3. No account required to view and purchase.
Selecting Items

 Physical gifts 

  • Click “Buy Now from Vendor” to buy it directly. You will be taken to the vendor’s website to complete the purchase.
  • Note any size, colour or details that were added. If you have any questions about the item, please connect with the registrant.
  • You’ll receive confirmation and tracking information from the vendor’s website

E-Gift Cards

  • Click “Buy Now from Vendor” to buy it directly.
  • Send the gift card to the registrant’s email.

 Acts of Service

  • Connect with the registrant outside the platform to coordinate the next steps.

Donations

  • Support other non-profit and charitable organizations by donating to their causes.
*Important* Tell your loved one what you purchased. They will update their registry as fulfilled to avoid duplicates.
